The activity feed

What shows up, and what deliberately does not.

Each space keeps a short feed of things that happened in it.

What appears

• Someone joined or left the space
• A place was saved or deleted
• A moment was added or deleted
• A journey was started
• A drive was recorded

What does not

Your position. The feed is a record of things people did, not a log of where everyone has been. Moving around produces nothing in it.

Arrivals and departures at a quiet place are left out too, which is most of what quiet means.

How far back

The feed is short by design, holding recent activity rather than the whole history of the space. Someone joining a space sees what happens from then on, not what happened before they arrived.

Moments are different

A moment stays with its place for good and is visible to anyone who joins later. The activity entry saying it was added is the part that ages out. See Adding a moment.
