What's New
Where to find what changed in the app you are holding.
Settings → What's New lists what has gone into recent releases, newest first. Each entry has a version number, a date and the handful of things that changed in it.
What gets listed
Things you would notice: new features, changes to how something works, and fixes worth knowing about. Not every commit - a list nobody reads is not worth writing.
Entries are written per platform where it matters. An iPhone-only change is not listed on Android and the other way round, so the list should match the app in your hand rather than describing something you cannot find.
It is the app, not this site
What's New covers the app. Changes to this help centre, to the account portal or to anything on the web are not listed there.
If the newest entry describes something you do not have
The list comes from us, not from your phone, so it can mention a release your phone has not installed yet. Check the App Store or Play Store for a pending update to Circl.
If the app stops you at a screen telling you to update before you can carry on, that is us requiring a version rather than suggesting one, and the update is already out.
