What Circl sends, and how to turn things off.

Circl sends notifications for a small number of things:

• Someone arrives at or leaves a saved place
• Someone pings you
• A crash is detected, if you have that turned on
• Occasional announcements from the team

Turning things off

Settings → Notifications has a switch for each kind. Turning one off stops it for you only; it does not affect what other people receive.

You can also mute a specific person at a specific place, which is quieter than turning the whole category off.

If nothing arrives at all

Check that notifications are enabled for Circl in your phone's own settings. If they are on there and you still receive nothing, email support@circlapp.org and tell us which device you are on.
